Anoreta Golf, is a stunningly beautiful 18 hole, 5976m course enjoyed by holiay makers and locals alike. Easy to play fairways and good greens makes this course challenging for all levels of golfers. There are eleven holes with water, including the long 528 metre third hole. Anoreta Golf course is enjoyed by holiday makers and locals alike. It is easy to reach with excellent motorway links direct to the course.

This parkland course, which overlooks the sea and the first foray into golf design by José Maria Cañizares, Añoreta is only the second to be built east of Malaga. Under the management of Mr. Francisco Alvarez and the chairmanship of Mr. Vicente Marín López, this 18 holes course offers a good challenge and is improving with age, something which summer golfers will welcome as the trees mature and the shady areas increase for relief from the heat.

Water is a major feature , used at eleven holes and unforgettable at the 17 where the green is surrounded on three sides. Most fairways are ample, as are the green and tees.

Some holes are difficult but spectacular and while the tremendous 528 mts 3rd hole offers wonderful sea views from the tee, you may not be very happy if you drive into the water hazard. The par 4 8th. with a dogleg to the right is, at 420 mts. full of trouble; watch out for the lake situated to the right of the fairway.

Buggies, clubs, lessons and a driving range can also be found at the club house.  There is a restaurant and lovely terrace to sit and have a coffee or a beer overlooking the golf course.
